then click the magnifying glass.
5. The Search Model pop-up appears. If
the pop-up stays on your screen and
displays a list of models, go to Step 6.
If the Search Model pop-up appears
and then closes, go to Step 7.
6. In the Search Model pop up, click the
box to the left of the model you want,
and then click Select at the bottom.
The model number is copied to the
blank field below the Model field.
7. Click Search on the right of the screen.
GSPN lists the documents for that
model .
8. Click the title of the Fast Track. The
Fast Track screen appears.
9. Click the Fast Track under Attached
Files. The Fast Track appears.
Be sure to consult and download the appropriate Fast Track before you go to your
customer’s home. The appropriate Fast
Track will also be provided with each issued service call.
A sample Fast Track begins on the next
page.
Over 100 TV Fast Tracks, covering most
2010 and 2011 models, have recently been
uploaded to GSPN.

To access Fast Tracks on GSPN, follow
these steps:
1. On your browser, go to
www.gspn3.samsungcsportal.
2. Login to GSPN.
3. Select Knowledge > Quick Tips > Repair/Tech Tip.
4. Enter the model number of the product
into the Model field on the right, and

To access service bulletins on GSPN, first visit http://gspn3.samsungcsportal.com/ Login using your User ID and Password. Click on “Knowledge” at the top, then “Product Info” in the left column. The Product Information menu will appear.
Click on “Service Bulletin (Local) to bring up the Service Bulletins (Local) screen. To search for a bulletin, enter the bulletin number in the Subject field on the left side of the screen, and then click the Search button on the far right. If for some
reason the bulletin does not appear, it can still be searched using the “Category” drop-down menus, the Subject field, or
the Model field. You can also try using the Search field at the top of the screen.

Symptom: Double Vertical lines.
Cure: Call the customer before you run the service call and ask the customer to display the OSD menu. If the line goes
through the menu, the panel is bad. If the line is behind the menu, disconnect all signal sources and check again.
If the line is still there, change the main board. If it’s gone, then the signal source is the problem.

Symptom: Screen displays a black shadow.
Cure: This is caused by a loose dimming board which comes mounted on the SMPS. Take a new SMPS to the customer’s home, but before replacing the SMPS, try reseating the dimming board.

Symptom: There’s a thin red vertical line on the right side of the menu.
Cure: Call the customer before you run the service call and ask the customer to display the OSD menu. If the line goes
through the menu, the panel is bad. If the line is behind the menu, disconnect all signal sources and check again.
If the line is still there, change the main board. If it’s gone, then the signal source is the problem. Also, if the line
appears in the service menu, it confirms that the panel is bad.
